Jackie and I are Moreno Valley ‘natives’. Both of us grew up here in the valley and graduated from Moreno Valley High School. I’ve been a follower of Jesus Christ since I was 19 years old. We were married in 1979 and have three grown children who are all following the Lord as well. We were in Youth Ministry for 25 years and spent five years ministering around the world full-time with students on Summer Mission Trips. Since 2003, I’ve been the Pastor here at Crosswinds, where we’ve been ministering since 1990. My passion is to introduce people to Jesus Christ, see them grow in their walk with Him, and release them to share their gifts and excitement with others!

Paul Hodi - Assistant Pastor

Born and raised in Southern California.  I’ve been a Christian since freshman year of high school!  My wife Jolene and I have been happily married since 2007 and have three beautiful girls.  We have seen God's blessing as we shoot for a Christ centered family.  In ministry, I have served as a worship director, jr. high, high school, and college pastor.  My passion stems directly from my relationship with Jesus Himself.  I want to have a full, vibrant, and abiding relationship with God and to have others experience the same. My hope for CrossWinds is that we would be like that city on a hill Jesus talked about, which cannot be hidden, but shines God's light for all to see how good He is.

Ronaele Wolf - Ministry Development/Connections

California seemed like a foreign country to me when I arrived in 1980 from a small farming community in Wisconsin.  Rick and I have been married since 84’ and have two grown children, Ryan and Riley.  Moreno Valley became our home soon after marriage, while CrossWinds became our family in the early 90’s. 

For me, Ministry Development is just FUN.  I get to help people discover their spiritual gifts and passions and then lead them through the process of finding a place to serve or develop a new ministry that fits who they are and how God wired them to serve.

Connections Ministry fits nicely alongside Ministry Development.  Meeting new people and helping them make connections, helping people understand who we are as a church and find those places to build relationships that will bring growth and encouragement in their walk with Jesus.

When I’m asked what my ‘hobbies’ are, it’s always been, people and coffee, both things that I wish I had more time to enjoy.   Some of my sweetest moments have been sitting with someone over a cup of coffee and sharing how much we are loved by God and that He has great plans that we get to be part of. 

Stacy Coronado - Children's Ministry Director

I was born and raised in Whittier, California, where I grew up in a Christian home and attended Christian school through 8th grade. My parents and I moved to Moreno Valley in 1989. This is where I graduated high school and met my husband, Tony.  We have been married for 21 years and have been blessed with 4 beautiful children.  We have been homeschooling our children as part of God’s calling on our lives, and we love it!  I have always had a heart for children and have always served in children’s ministry in some capacity, ranging from in-home daycare, to being a Sunday school teacher, a youth group leader, and a homeschool teacher. I have been blessed beyond measure through these experiences. 

Even though, as a child, I believed in God and always knew God He was real, I didn’t fully surrender my life to him until I was 21 years old. Since then, I have witnessed His grace and mercy firsthand and am a firm believer in the power of prayer! Each day is a gift and an adventure as He continues to grow me and mold me into who He desires me to be! My hope and prayer here at CrossWinds is to encourage and come alongside teachers and volunteers, so that, together, we can help children grow in Christ and learn what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. 

Carol Sickmeier - Office Manager

I grew up in the Midwest where summers are hot and winters are cold. I came to know Christ at a young age and continue to be amazed at how He works in my life to continue to draw me closer. My husband and I married in 1986.  God has blessed us with one son and two daughters, who are now young adults.  My strongest desire is to just love people where they are, while helping them see who God wants them to become. A perfect moment for me is when I get to come alongside others and help them have an “a-ha” moment that helps to grow them in the faith. My dream for CrossWinds is that the hearts of the people would be ignited into an unquenchable wildfire. May God so change us that we would create change in the world.

Fred Snowden - Care Ministry

I grew up in Beaver Falls, PA.  I have been walking with Jesus Christ for the past 43 years.  God has blessed my wife May and I with 2 children, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.  I have enjoyed the calling God has placed upon my life as a missionary, minister of care, Sunday school teacher, and elder.  I hope to see God continue to use CrossWinds to reach out to our community and to the ends of the world.
